Yoga, Mindfulness & Sound
Yoga, meditation & mindful embodiment have offered me many doorways of inquiry, study and practice.
I have explored many ‘styles’ including Astanga, Iyengar, Vinyasa, Embodied Flow, Yin, Shadow Yoga, Prenatal yoga, Hatha and Restorative yoga, When I teach I weave elements of each of these into a unique practice that can be used for cultivating greater presence and a deeper inner steadiness.
I have taught in the USA (Kinfolk Yoga; Wild Mountain Yoga), Australia (Yellow Church; Ananta Yoga) & Bali (Yoga Barn; Radiantly Alive; Bali Silent Retreat).
Music is a treasured part of my practice, including devotional music and improvised sound-scapes. I love teaching vocal classes to help people discover the joy and expansion of singing. I also love performing and creating sound-bath experiences for groups.
For me meditation, yoga and music offer opportunities to listen, to expand awareness on this path of life, to experience harmony & connection.
